Stable Assistant

This full-time stable assistant position will be responsible for the daily care and duties of a small, private horse facility located near Plymouth, WI. Daily duties include:

• Feeding horses

• Turn-out and bring-in horses from turn-out

• Cleaning Stalls and the barn

• Grooming and possibly tacking horses

• Landscaping and yard work

• Care of other animals around farm (dogs and cats)

• Miscellaneous errands and duties as needed.

This position is full-time, 40 hours a week, 5 days per week. Some flexibility in scheduling is preferred as you may be asked to work some weekend or extra hours if clinics are being hosted at the farm.

Experience with horses is preferred, but must at least be comfortable working with large horses, dogs, and cats. Must be respectful of ALL animals on the farm.
