Operational Manager

Hiring an Operational Manager for a large dairy in central Oconto County.

Duties:

To manage a 3,600 cow dairy operation including cattle and people. You will be accountable for the overall profitability of the dairy and be expected to stay within budgetary guidelines. You will be expected to communicate with the entire dairy team and assist with managing and improving the standard operating processes for the dairy.

• Maintain and improve the dairy's profitability

• Manage all personnel and training

• Communicate with General Manager/Owners about the farm

• Oversee and be responsible for cattle's well-being

• Utilize DairyComp 305, Smart Dairy, and Feed Watch to maintain and provide measurable goals and status

• Overall management of farm

Qualifications:

• Dependable, accountable, and puntual

• Be a leader, not a follower

• Able to breed cows and be responsible for breeding program

• Able to give injections, treat hooves, and other general cow care

• Enjoy working with people and animals

• Resourceful, creative, and able to use common sense

• Have motivation and work towards team goals

• Ability to speak fluent Spanish a plus

• Must have previous dairy and management experience

• Valid Driver's License

• Be authorized to work in the United States
