Laundromat Assistant

Hiring general labor employees for a laundry cleaning service in the Fox Cities. Employees will work with a variety of laundering equipment to return soiled laundry in a clean and sanitary fashion.

Essential Job Duties:

Receives and sorts cloths and linens according to fiber, color, and soiled condition.

Operates washers and dryers in accordance with safety standards

Supplies recommended quantities of detergents and bleaches.

Folds, wraps, or places on hangers, completed laundry

Maintains laundry room and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

Makes minor repairs to items, i.e. replace buttons, mend torn clothes and linens.

Performs related work as required.

Ideal candidate will:

Have some knowledge of standard laundry methods and equipment

Some experience with commercial laundering equipment

Be able to follow oral and written instructions

Perform all job duties safely and efficiently

Be timely, efficient, and reliable.
